I have been a tech startup mentor at the Design Fabrication Zone at Ryerson University since 2017. I love working with passionate entrepreneurs to build compelling investor pitches as well as lead UX research initiatives to enhance their product strategy and design. Currently, I'm working with the co-founders of Novalte which enables individuals with physical disabilities to live more independently using their smart home device, the Emitto.
DESIGN CHARRETTE ADVISOR
I also enjoy connecting with students in the design community by volunteering as an advisor for international design competitions facilitated by the Institute Without Boundaries.
In January 2019, I joined an angel investment training program called Female Funders. This unique learning experience will bolster my knowledge of early-stage venture funding with an apprenticeship. I’m fuelled by the belief that the more female investors at the table, the greater the opportunities will be for female startup founders.
