DESIGN WORKSHOP FACILITATION
THE BUSINESS OBJECTIVE
Build a new company website that clearly communicates the value proposition and range of digital learning solutions that Metrix Group provides in order to improve their lead conversion success rate.
The sprint team as made up of the CEO, COO, Creative Director, Lead Designers, Marketing Manager and Facilitator. After months of unproductive internal disagreement over how to redesign their company website, the design sprint united the team in a way that truly surprised them.
Over the course of five days, we completed goal setting, market research, user storyboarding, solution sketching, prototyping and testing with real customers. As the Facilitator, I hustled to keep the team on track and motivated - as well as off their phones and to stay put in the sprint room!
The team conducted five 1-on-1 interviews combining broad discovery questions with task-based evaluation of a prototype through usability testing. 5/5 of test participants could succinctly sucinctly articulate Metrix Group's core offering and 3/5 expressed surprise (in a good way) at additional services they never knew were offered.
The COO, designated the sprint decider, was very pleased with the progress made during the week.
The interdisciplinary sprint team was energized and amazed what could be accomplished in five days.
Most importantly, the user testing feedback informed the design of the new website, which is now live.
