Based in Toronto, I'm a senior UX researcher with a deep love of design, problem-solving and human behaviour. I help to keep everyone focused on the user - turning the stories I hear of how they experience the world into product-guiding insights.
I bring expertise in generative and evaluative UX research practices across all phases of the product life-cycle. This includes innovation workshops, user interviews, context labs, field visits, ethnography, surveys, card sorting and usability testing - to name a few.
Presenting research strategy and product recommendations to an intimidating boardroom of stakeholders is where I thrive. With over 10+ years of advertising pitching under my belt, I’ve been “storytelling” with heart and conviction long before the term became a trendy buzzword.

My career path has been winding, from car design to marketing consulting to advertising and back to design - with a few extra entrepreneurial stops along the way.
After years in the advertising industry, I recognized a critical truth: despite an extensive range of so-called marketing metrics, there is a short supply of meaning about why people do the things they do. Research is rarely utilized and often seen as the enemy of creativity.
My curiosity to go deeper into the customer experience led me to reconsider my professional trajectory. I decided to pursue a career in tech, excited by the true measurability of the impact of design through research.
I haven't looked back since.
